Toyoda Gosei Holds Global Summit Online

Kiyosu, Japan, November 15, 2021: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. held the 2021 TG Global Summit over five days starting on November 8, with participation of about 280 leaders and others from 55 Group companies in 15 countries and regions.

Toyoda Gosei has been holding Global Summits since 2013 to share the status of the company’s business and issues that need to be addressed, and to raise Group cohesiveness. This year was the fourth Global Summit. Previously, summit participants all gathered in Japan, but this time a Web conferencing system was used for efficiency and to prevent infections.

Topics shared included progress in the company’s medium-term business plan by business area and region, strategy for achieving carbon neutrality, and efforts for IT utilization and automation. This deepened understanding of key issues in the entire Toyoda Gosei Group. Some videos are being distributed on the company intranet until the end of November, showing virtual tours of plants working for mass production with collaborative robots and activities for safety, quality, compliance and more.

Toyoda Gosei will continue its efforts for sustainable growth into the future with the united efforts of the Toyoda Gosei Group.
